Juicer Comparison: Kuvings AUTO10 SQUARE Plus vs. Nama J2
Share
Fresh juice is one of my favorite ways to enjoy a variety of fruits and vegetables at home. I’ve tried different juicers over time, and I’ve found that details like size, capacity, and how a machine handles different ingredients can make a real difference in everyday use.
When I heard that Kuvings had introduced AUTO10 SQUARE Plus, I was curious to see how it compared with the Nama J2. In this Kuvings vs. Nama juicer comparison, I focus on the differences I noticed when using both machines.
Size and capacity
The Nama J2 has a compact design and a hopper capacity of 16–32 oz. Kuvings AUTO10 SQUARE Plus is larger and heavier, with a 64 oz hopper and an 88 oz extension hopper, for up to 152 oz of combined capacity.
After trying both juicers, I found that the Nama J2’s hopper felt a little small when I was making juice for four people. The Kuvings AUTO10 SQUARE Plus hopper had enough room for the ingredients I needed, so it felt more convenient for preparing several servings at once. A larger hopper can be useful for making juice for a group, while a more compact juicer may be easier to fit into a smaller kitchen. Which matters more depends on how much you usually make and how much counter space you have.

Juicing fibrous and harder ingredients
Both juicers handled fruits like apples well in my experience. I noticed more of a difference with fibrous vegetables, especially celery. When I juiced a larger amount of celery with the Nama J2, it seemed to have a harder time processing it.
With the Kuvings AUTO10 SQUARE Plus, juicing celery felt smoother, and the pulp discharged well during the process. I also found it handled harder ingredients with ease. Overall, both worked well for everyday fruits, while the Kuvings felt more capable when I juiced larger amounts of fibrous or harder produce.

Which juicer fits your routine?
Which juicer is right for you will depend on your kitchen space, the ingredients you use most often, and how much juice you like to make at a time.
The Nama J2 is compact and easy to use, so it may suit someone with a smaller kitchen or someone who usually makes a smaller amount of juice at a time. Its smaller footprint makes it easy to place on the counter, and it works well for a simple everyday juicing routine—like making a glass of juice for yourself or trying a quick fruit-and-vegetable blend.
Kuvings AUTO10 SQUARE Plus, on the other hand, feels better suited to making juice for several people. Its roomy hopper lets me load more ingredients at once, which works well for my home since I often have family or guests to share juice with. I also enjoy making a larger batch ahead of time, so I have juice ready for my morning routine. For the way I make juice, Kuvings has been the better fit.
